Silverton Mtn

We'd been hearing about the incredible skiing at Silverton Mountain so we decided to check it out for ourselves. This is a picture of the one lift and base area. Too bad more resorts are like this.



We timed our trip to coincide with a big storm, and Mother Nature came through for us with about 20" of powder.

Red Mountain Pass

Doug, Mel and I decided to explore the back country skiing in the San Juans and we weren't disappointed.



We were treated to fresh powder and another beautiful bluebird day.

Aconcagua

In December, some friends and I went to Argentina to climb Aconcagua (22,841'). We all successfully summitted via the normal route.
